Our featured item is a gorgeous Drexel buffet/sideboard that is ready for a new home. This solid wood piece which offers ample storage space with 6 dovetail drawers and 2 cabinets has been beautifully rehabbed. The top of this piece was stripped and stained to reveal the wood grain and offer a natural yet rustic look. We painted the body in an antique white chalk paint and the drawers and cabinets in old ochre chalk paint. The hand carved detail and edges of this piece have been slightly distressed for an aged, antique look. We then applied Anni Sloan clear wax to protect and preserve this piece to be cherished for many more years. Finally, we cleaned up the original drawer pulls to reveal a charmingly aged patina that finishes this piece.
